Meet the team
Randy West is the founder and owner of Watertight Systems, Inc. A graduate of Limestone College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, he spent the early part of his career in various areas of business until he found his niche in the construction field of waterproofing and restoration, founding Watertight Systems, Inc. in 1996. He is very active in the Waterproofing Contractors Association of the Carolinas where he has served as a Board Member, Vice President and President. In 2001, he was named Waterproofer of the Year. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Email Randy
Donna brings over 20 years of office administration and technology experience to Watertight. Donna assists project managers with all facets of projects from bids to warranty throughout the projects. She enjoys the small company atmosphere that promotes family values and teamwork. Donna enjoys spending time with friends and family. Donna is a graduate of Limestone College with a Bachelor of Science in both Business Administration and Computer Science Software Applications degree. Other favorite activities are family events, hiking, gardening, genealogy, and crafts .
Hector Mireles Salas
A 10 year veteran of Watertight Systems, Hector serves as Foreman of the Shop and Maintenance Facility. In his role, he is responsible for keeping the equipment in good running condition and available for every project. Along with his certificates in CPR and as Sky Climber Operator, Hector is also certified in Excavation Safety for Competent Persons (OSHA 29CFR 1926 subpart P). In Hector’s words, “I like working at Watertight Systems because I’ve had a lot of opportunities to grow professionally while meeting new people. I also enjoy it because I have a great boss. Overall, I love what I do and I’m able to do it every day”. Besides work, his favorite activities are cooking and spending time with his wife and children along with swimming and running.
As Superintendent, Mark’s objective is to run each job effectively and efficiently, recognizing that activity does not necessarily mean achievement. A graduate in Management and Marketing from Lander University, Mark is also certified in rigging suspended scaffolding, deck coating installation, expansion joint installation, and CPR. He loves working at Watertight because “it has a great working environment with the best people”. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, offshore fishing, and surfing.
Ossie Coronado originally came to the United States as a professional baseball player from the Dominican Republic. He joined the Watertight Systems, Inc. team in 2001. Now a sixteen (16) year veteran with Watertight; Ossie has worked his way up through the company starting in the field. Ossie currently serves the company as one of its Project Managers handling a wide range of various projects. He is certified in all aspects of rigging, suspended scaffolding and CPR. In his free time Ossie enjoys watching baseball, football and movies at home with his wife and children.
Pat’s current role in business development has been reinforced by his thirty nine years in the waterproofing and restoration business. Pat attended NC State University where his career began as a summer job. He has held every position in the industry from laborer to president of a division. He is a longtime member and past president of WCA and an 18 year member of ICRI. In his free time Pat enjoys boating and the outdoors.
In her 18 years in construction industry, Robin has served in the capacities of Estimator, Project Manager, Bookkeeper and Office Manager. Her current role is company accountant. She likes the team atmosphere of working at Watertight and in her spare time, she enjoys movies and everything outdoors. She also volunteers at Habitat for Humanity- Women Build.
Robert has been with Watertight Systems twelve years and currently serves as Project Manager. He has specialized training in rigging suspended scaffold, carbon fiber installation, deck-coating installation, and is certified in CPR. Robert enjoys his work at Watertight because “management and field personnel are wonderful” to work with in a “friendly, family oriented work environment where everyone strives to provide quality, safety and productivity”. Outside of work, Robert enjoys fishing, hunting and the “EXTREME” sports of surfing, skating and snowboarding.
